Community Conversations

In 2011 and 2012 the Catamount Earth Institute worked with many community organizations to organize 42 Upper Valley community conversations on food; connections between environmental health and human health; and many aspects of living sustainably. These conversations were based on collections of readings compiled by the the Northwest Earth Institute. They were for groups of 8-12 people, and ran for 6-sessions.

Local libraries and other community groups are invited to organize more Community Conversations. Participation is free. The discussion guides may be purchased or borrowed. Local organizing assistance is available through Barbara Duncan and the Catamount Earth Institute. for more information about forming discussion groups and borrowing the discussion guides. There are 10 discussion topics – all concerning the environment.
